Bevertech’s internationalization program gains momentum
Bevertech strengthens its dialogue with West Africa through an initiative focused on fostering direct engagement between international demand and Italian technological expertise. A selected delegation of buyers from Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea met with more than 40 Italian companies specializing in packaging and processing technologies for the Liquid Food & Beverage and Grain Based Food sectors, initiating concrete discussions on development opportunities and potential partnerships.
West Africa is not simply an emerging market; it is a region undergoing a profound structural transformation. Alongside rapid population growth and accelerated urbanization, agricultural production increased by +70% between 2010 and 2022. This evolution calls for reliable technologies, scalable solutions and industrial partners capable of supporting long-term local development.
Tomorrow, February 19, the delegation will take part in a series of factory visits to leading Italian companies within the technology supply chain. In the Liquid Food & Beverage sector, the delegation will visit the production facilities of Robopac, Galdi and Frau Group; for the Grain Based Food sector, visits will include Cepi, ICA and Axor.
hese visits represent a further opportunity for direct exchange on plants, production lines, and packaging and processing solutions, reinforcing a pathway aimed at transforming dialogue between technologies and markets into tangible opportunities for growth and industrial cooperation.
The initiative is carried out in collaboration with UCIMA and ITA - Italian Trade Agency, and marks a first concrete step along the path leading to Bevertech, in synergy with IPACK-IMA and SIMEI.
Our thanks go to the companies that opened the doors of their facilities, turning the connection between technologies and markets into a tangible and forward-looking experience, aimed at fostering new business opportunities.
